Mota® Line

Mota® is not a white label. It is Motagon’s own brand, built cultivar by cultivar against the indications prescribers actually treat, and released on our own EU-GMP licence.

The line system

A Mota® product name tells a prescriber three things before they open a monograph: the cultivar, the approximate THC to CBD ratio, and the line.

• Mota® ROSE, THC higher than CBD, with CBD at or below 5%. For patients with established tolerance or severe pain.
• Mota® SILVER, THC above 5% and CBD above 5%. A balanced profile, commonly the starting point for cannabis-naive, older or anxiety-sensitive patients.

Each line has a fixed identifying colour, and that colour is the identifier, it is never used decoratively and never applied to another brand.

Non-irradiated, throughout

Every Mota® flower released to date has been non-irradiated. Gamma irradiation is a legitimate and widely used decontamination step and it leaves cannabinoid content largely intact, but published data consistently shows it reduces terpene content. Sourcing material that meets microbiological limits without it preserves the profile the cultivar was chosen for.
